They say that the last time humans received a tablet, it has commandments written on it. But this time, Apple’s iPad only has things on its tablet to wow earthlings. It certainly looks nice and portable, but by just looking at it, one could see that this is some sort of a “missing link” between iPod and the regular Mac Pro. In fact, I think it’s just a huge iPod.
The iPad has about 64GB flash memory storage, 1Ghz processor, 9.7″ screen, touch sensitive, keyboard on screen, bluetooth, wifi and a battery that could last for 6 hours. Not to mention that it’s also portable at 1/2 inch thick. You can download and watch movies, read books, play games, listen to music and store your files. The price for a 64GB unit is projected at around $699, and the lowest at $499. Pricing depends on storage size.
Pros: It operates like your regular iPod and iPhone, and it makes reading/viewing easier because of huge screen.
Cons: With that price, I would rather settle for a laptop that has fuller features. Or maybe donate that money to cure malignant Mesothelioma, AIDS, or cancer. At least I know I helped heal the world.
The latest Apple gadget by Steve Jobs isn’t really that fantastic. Unless you have money to burn.
