As expected, I was not able to go on a dibidi marathon today. I fell asleep in the middle of Seven Swords and eventually got bored when I started with Death Note series. Both were Asian movies (China and Japan).I focused more on their English translations than their stories. In less than an hour, my eyes were tired and watery already from reading.
I did not finish any of those two. I was hoping for Jet Li-like stunt to fly across the screen but things like that only happen when the story was about to end. I had to switch to Ember City which was a thousand times better than Asian man-slaughter flicks. I’m tired of seeing too much blood from watching HBO blood-sucking original movie, True Blood. I should have spent time looking at those wholesale handbags or second hand cars posted on the internet.
By the way, I was glad I did not watch the heart-breaking defeats of Boston Celtics (loved them last year) at 3am and Houston Rockets (hail, Yao Ming). At least, it didn’t hurt like hell.
Now, my recommended must-see movie list:
1. Australia – I learned about the word “crikey” here. Thanks, Wolverine.
2. Slumdog Millionaire – No wonder they took home major awards.
3. Wolverine – Need to state the obvious?
4. Fireproof – Couples, you really should see this. Not because 80’s heartthrob Kirk Cameron was in there.
5. Dan In Real Life – This one’s hilarious. Believe me.
