Sanuk: The Pursuit of Happiness

Sanuk

If your feet is happy, everything else up to your hair strands will follow suit. That, my friend, is the expounded meaning of the Thai word “Sanuk” – an exotic-sounding name its founder from California used to brand those hip and functional footwear I saw at the mall yesterday. By the way, Sanuk the footwear refuses to be called “shoes”. They are sandals.

Some of Sanuk’s designs are currently on sale up to 50% discount. I would have bought one and postpone the purchase of a pair of running shoes to a latter date. It’s good to own a pair, use it for my mall fitness walks (ahem) and lose a couple pounds without swallowing a weight loss pill. But I just couldn’t find my tiny size though.

Sanuk is not exactly a new brand to fashionistas. It has been here for over a year. I have been hiding in the cave for the longest time and shopping is not even my alternative vocation. That explains why. Ask me about movies and I’ll tell you bits and pieces.
