It is bad news I won’t be able to watch the next word war on the Senate’s floor. We just lost our Sky Cable connection today because my brother refused to pay the balance unless the company gives in to his demand of putting Basketball TV back on air. This is the reason why he subscribed to Sky Cable in the first place. His life is all about basketball. Take it away from him and you suffer. Who in the Philippines would want to watch cricket and polo matches in Balls anyway?

It’s good to know that having ZTE/NBN star witness Rodolfo Noel “Jun” Lozano on TV, radio and print made up for the time we’re hungry for some live action. Last night’s battle between forces of many evils simply made one solid statement to the public - kapatid ng magnanakaw ang sinungaling. (The thief and the liar are kins. Pardon the cheap translation.)
This will be a long and tedious battle and we actually have not reach the middle part of it. The investigation on the anomalous transaction in the ZTE broadband deal has not been fully started yet. What has been started by the Senate was the peculiar issue surrounding the alleged kidnapping of ZTE whistle blower Jun Lozano. But if you have your conscience intact, you would know by heart that this probinsyanong-Intsik, Lozano, is telling the truth about his alleged abduction by the government. It’s pretty obvious how these apostles from Malacanang tried to cover up for the thwarted plan of silencing him. All you have to do is keep an open ear and analyze their accounts of Lozano’s amazing tour of Luzon that started from the airport all the way down to Laguna.

Don’t you think it’s funny that those people we admired during the Estrada trial became the very odds we started to hate today? Ironic, isn’t it? Some of them started calling for moral revolution upon sensing danger crawling up their doorsteps. Not that I am a fan of now illuminated former Speaker Jose de Venecia. All he proved to me during his lengthy speech last week at Batasang Pambansa was his loyalty was never with the Filipino people but with the current resident of Malacanang. But to give him credit, he was right in saying that everyone in the government is for sale. How much is the discount only he could tell.
