Harbor View Square is an attractive spot along Pedro Bukaneg Street in Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Complex, Roxas Boulevard, Manila. Located right beside Manila Bay, Harbor View Square is an ideal place to hang around after a long day at work, watching concerts/plays in neighboring CCP, PICC and Aliw Theater or when one is simply looking for a quiet getaway from a bustling cityscape.
Under its roof are restaurants that offer gastronomical varieties from Japanese to native Filipino dishes. Check out Teriyaki Boy, Dencio’s Bar & Restaurant, Rai-Rai Ken and yes, another Jollibee. For relaxing coffee conversations, Starbucks, Figaro and Mocha Blends offer it with a pictureque bayview to boot.
For loyal commuters like me, brave the Manila traffic by taking an FX ride going to Sucat at the Central Post Office in Lawton/City Hall area. Pay P25 for the 30-minute trip. If you’re coming from Makati, the shortest route is Buendia corner Taft. There are FX taxis going to Divisoria that would pass through Roxas Blvd for only P25. For car owners, Harbor View Square has paid parking and free unlimited view of the sea.
