If you would consider someone who owns a Sony Ericsson T630 a dinosaur, I guess I already am one in this age of iPods.
I am not exactly gadget-friendly. While my brothers have upgraded their cellphone units to more sophisticated ones like N95 series and Blackberry, I remain happy with my beloved unit. Whenever I visit computer stores, the things I check out immediately are the sale prices of old Mac Notebooks. I do not drool over latest cellphone units and iPods…
…but I just might one of these days.
iPhone is coming on June 29!
This one is a certified blockbuster that would break all mobile phone sales records…and yeah, cellphone snatching incidents in Metro Manila. iPhone, another Apple invention, is a three-in-one technology that literally puts the whole world in your hands. It is a mobile phone that can incorporate your list of contacts from your old phone unit or even from those stored in the web, like Yahoo! address book. It also serves as the best iPod to-date (play your favorite music, movie or TV show in iPhone’s 3.5″ widescreen), 2-megapixel camera and your internet/email gateway as well. iPhone has soft-touch user interface and latest software device.
In the US, iPhone is priced at $499 for 4GB and $599 for 8GB when buyer signs up to a 2-year contract with iPhone’s release partner, AT&T. I don’t know if similar condition would also apply here locally and which local telecom company would initially carry this - Globe or Smart? There are also rumors that iPhone would cost $899 and $999 (for 4GB and 8GB) outside contract of accredited service providers.
Those, of course, are introductory prices of iPhone. Expect prices to drop in 2 to 3 years time. Then I’ll get myself a unit.

i am tempting to get one. ksi considering its price tapos di pa sya 3g…i think i would go for an upgrade of my p990i fone. parang di praktikal. lolz. excited lang siguro ang tao because for the 1st time may mobile phone na ang apple. i still have to check its reliability and performance against nokia and sony ericsson, even motorola.
