The original plan was to buy myself a pair of Nike shoes. Instead, funds were used to buy something else — 2 Kamiseta blouses, a hefty Jack Daniels Pork Chop & Spicy Chicken Wings lunch at TGI Fridays with Kleng-Kleng and, okay, a Sony DSC-S650 Cyber-Shot digital still camera.
I still could remember the taste and sweet smell of TGI Friday’s corn….and that loud cheer of Friday’s staff that sounded like a Spartan war chant to me. How does it sound like? Is it “ahoo”? I find it quite disturbing - it brings bloody images of 300 to mind.
Robinsons Galleria is on a 3-day mallwide sale. This is where I bought my stuff at incredibly good discounts. Kamiseta offers 50% discount on their regular items. Great-looking blouses/shirts, better than those at Bayo. (Ladies, better check out those.)  I got my Cyber-Shot digicam and a Sony 512mb Memory Stick from Complink at an excellent deal. Three years warranty on parts and service for the digicam, 5 years for Sony 512mb Memory Stick. I was offered a generic memory stick at much lower price, but I am not exactly the type to compromise quality and get myself a headache later.
We visited Marithe Francois Girbaud for bags and I almost gave in to those sneakers that could add 100lbs to your normal body weight. All were sold with 10% to 30% discount. If you really want quality but reasonably priced bags, trust this brand for durability. I have a Girbaud brown bag given to me 3 years ago and I’m still using it up to this day.
At the end of wallet-slashing day, I was reunited with my all-time favorite - Starbucks Belgian Waffle in Caramel Syrup.

I think Nike’s are going to the retro look now for the more casual crowd. Their athletic line is ugly, but I like the retro looking ones.
